An ancient sport practiced by our parents and grandparents, along the numerous slopes of our territory, the latter being mountainous. A wooden plank, a strap or a rope, disused bearings recovered by local mechanics and good shoes to brake ... with time everything has changed: we have made everything more regulated and competitive ... Truffle trails

Born from the collaboration with the Circolo Legambiente Avigliano, the 1st stage of this initiative took place on Sunday 4 October 2020. The main objectives concern local tourism, the enhancement of the Aviglianese forest heritage, as well as the protection and safeguarding of the environment. During the walk (of two different routes, in the morning and in the afternoon) information was given regarding the truffle, types, characteristics, research and culinary use, and illustrated the wooded ecosystem that we crossed and in which we walked. Other stages are planned, thanks to the availability of our expert truffle hunter Giuseppe Lorusso and the infallible flair of his Mayan Romagna lagotto: follow us to stay updated!
